Long time no see Finally decided to get my lazy arse in gear and write another journal, if anyone cares to read. The title relates to the tag at the bottom. Guess that's not too bad of a percentage...it's pretty close.

God, I'm tired. Didn't get to sleep 'til 1 am last night. That's the first in a loooong time that I've daydreamed for that long. Hopefully that means I'm finally getting out of this annoying funk. Meh.

I think I am, actually. My latest deviation Zivala is proof of that. And that's only a fraction of the amount of sketches I've done lately. I'm very pleased with all of them. :3 Even the difficult poses don't look too bad. I'm truly expanding my talent at last.

In case you were wondering, Ziv is part of a new original novel idea I came up with a couple weeks ago. I was inspired after watching the Fantastic Four movies and seeing a Clash of the Gods episode on the History Channel about Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, which I am in LOVE with. Those three movies may have been, no, ARE among the best of all time, and I intend to read the books sometime soon.

Back to the point, I won't give anything away aside from the fact that this new story is (obviously) an anthro novel and is set in a medievil era on another planet which I STILL haven't come up with a name for. Gr. The plot isn't quite clear yet, but after watching all three LotR movies over the weekends, I got some inspiration. Slowly but surely, the idea is developing. I know I say this about all of my stories, fanfiction and original, but this time I'm really confident. It's not like the other ones. Honestly. I'm falling in love with it...and the characters. I've gained so much experience over the many years. It's time I put it to work.

As for my fanfictions, I may not be working on them, per say, but my recent bout of imagination has given my many, MANY new ideas for them, namely Whispers, which has turned into a trilogy, and Black Flame, which continues to develop. It's almost out of my control. I don't even know how many installments there will be in the series. I think I'm nearing 10. O.o

Anyways, I hope you're all doing well. Sorry for my inactiveness as of late. I've been pretty preoccupied. Hopefully I'll have less distractions when 2nd tri starts next Monday. I still can't believe a third of the school year is already over. It goes by so fast...
